Becky and Mike on their Way to the Top

“This is a picture of Mike and I making our way to rifugio Lavarella in the Dolomites during an 8 day trip there with friends. This was the longest day of the trek, but the hike was well worth it when we finally made it to the top of that mountain and saw an amazing view. We were all surprised by an elderly man in his sixties who made it to the top before us, a bunch of eighteen yr. olds! “ - Becky

WOW! That seems amazing! My husband and I leave on September 30th to backpack for a year or so to various countries all around the world.
My brother is getting married in Italy on October 9th, so we will begin our backpacking adventure in Italy.
It looks like you found some incredible elements of Italy to explore. We would love your advice for us. http://www.nomadbackpackers.com
For about a week we are going to meet up with our friend Cup (Jacob) who actually lived in Italy with his family for about 4 yrs. He thought we should go to Cinque Terre. Any other recommendations, opinions, advice, etc. you can share with us, we would appreciate!
In my opinion, Cinque Terre is a MUST. I really enjoyed it when I visited Italy.
I’ll follow your adventure on Nomad Backpackers, don’t forget to take pictures of you and your backpack, I’ll post them for sure!
