Farewell Gap - Sequoia National Park - California - United States USA - Lowe Alpine Backpack
“This photo was taken on our honeymoon trip. The hike up to the top of Farewell Gap was a long stretch of exposed and narrow switchbacks. When we got to the top of the gap, the wind was incredible. We were able to lean into the wind and be supported by it. The view was incredible, and then we started down the other side of the valley to make camp.” - Beth

Daniel's Wife Carrying a Doite Backpack and Her Baby in Chile - Chile - Doite Backpack
“After 2 years studying at Laval University we went back to Chili with my wife for 1 month of vacations. We made some calls in order to organize a 3 days adventure at “Nevados de Chillan” (snowed of Chillan) to stay at the “valle de aguas calientes” (spring waters valley) and to hike the old Chillan volcano (3122 m.). César Segovia (a very good friend and old workmate) and his wife Karin were our guides as always. We were 12 people, but only 6 of us hiked the volcano, 2 of them from Québec who went with us to know Chili. My wife had some difficulties hiking the volcano… few weeks later we would know that she was pregnant. An excursion that I’ll never forget.

Here is my lovely wife carrying my sister’s backpack and also our baby.” - Daniel
