“After 2 years studying at Laval University we went back to Chili with my wife for 1 month of vacations. We made some calls in order to organize a 3 days adventure at “Nevados de Chillan” (snowed of Chillan) to stay at the “valle de aguas calientes” (spring waters valley) and to hike the old Chillan volcano (3122 m.). César Segovia (a very good friend and old workmate) and his wife Karin were our guides as always. We were 12 people, but only 6 of us hiked the volcano, 2 of them from Québec who went with us to know Chili. My wife had some difficulties hiking the volcano… few weeks later we would know that she was pregnant. An excursion that I’ll never forget.” - Daniel
