Ahmad at Gondogoro La

“Najam and Baqir look out over the sprawling Hushe Valley spread out at their feet from the top of the high mountain pass Gondogoro La (5620m), steeling themselves for the kilometer long near vertical descent via fixed rope over treacherous scree and slippery ice to the beginning of the Gondogoro Glacier and the road home.
Laila (Peak) is visible in the background. “ – Ahmad

hey, thanks for putting it up
=)
could you correct the map entry though? You have marked Afghanistan. You see the little closed shape at the North Eastern end of the one you marked? That’s the Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Correct it will you?
Nice picture! Whats the deal with this site exactly? And change the name of the category to Pakistan, dont you think?
@Ahmad: Sorry for the mark. I’ve updated it. Thanks for the info and thanks for this so “mytravelbackpack” picture. ; )
@Moiz: What’s the deal with this site? Actually, it’s pretty simple. I ask people to send me pictures of them, their backpack, somewhere cool on the planet. As easy as it sounds.
Heh. That works!
=)
I love the idea Mathieu.
Maybe you could talk about the site on the Elf travel blog! ; )
Cheers!
sure!
